Hudson Common Council votes to become Sanctuary City

Without actually using the words "Sanctuary City", the Hudson Common Council voted to become one Tuesday night.  The actual words used in the resolution are "Welcoming and Inclusive City". The measure still needs to be signed by Mayor Hamilton. Crowds filled City Hall and spilled out into Warren Street during the vote. Complete details have not been released yet. We're not sure how this measure affects The Hudson Police Department, or if any Federal Funding may be in jeopardy because of it.
